Fit Skills
Diagnostic tool to analyse Claude Skills
The Problem
- Your Claude Skills aren’t loading?
- Commands not visible in
/slashcommand menu?
Did you hit the 15k character description budget or a token limit? MCP config issues?
Why isn’t my skill showing up?
- “I installed 5 plugins but only 3 are working”
- “Claude seems to have forgotten my custom commands”
Our Solution
A diagnostic tool that answers the frustrating “why isn’t my skill loading?” question.
What the audit reveals:
- Budget usage - Are you over the 15k character limit?
- Token usage per plugin - Which plugins consume the most?
- Disk vs context - What’s configured vs what’s actually loaded?
- Disabled MCP servers - Toggled off but forgotten?
- Invalid skills - Standalone .md files that won’t load?
- Dropped skills - What got cut due to token limits?
How It Works
Scans your skills across three sources:
- User (global ~/.claude)
- Plugin (installed plugins)
- Project (local .claude)
Shows exactly what’s loaded into Claude’s context window VS what is installed on disk.
Actionable Advice
Have you reached a limit? Claude will help you resolve the problem by getting your permission to uninstall problematic plugins.
